As part of KUKA’s modular linear unit range, the KL 250-3 is available in standard and covered (CV) variants, offering additional protection in demanding industrial environments.

The KL 250-3 is a robust and high-precision linear unit developed for the KR CYBERTECH robot series. Designed for medium to heavy-payload applications, it supports loads of up to 300 kg, making it ideal for machine tending, material handling, welding, and general industrial automation.
The KL 250-3 can be installed in floor or ceiling-mounted configurations, allowing flexible integration into existing production layouts. By adding a linear axis to the robot, the system’s working envelope is significantly extended, enabling a single robot to service multiple stations efficiently.
Integrated as an external axis, the KL 250-3 requires no additional controller, simplifying commissioning and reducing overall system costs.
